We’ve designed [ANNEX] to capture the majority of the ash within the filter cartridge. You’ll also have a small portion that remains within the device. To clean out that ash, simply twist off the igniter and shake the device.

Quick clean: Simply remove the cone holder and igniter. This will expose the burn tube. Then, push the cleaning brush through which will dislodge any ash not captured by the filter cartridge.

Deep clean: Remove the valve cartridge, igniter, cone holder and adapter piece. This will allow you to access every surface that comes in contact with fumes and resin. Just use an alcohol wipe to clean off each of these surfaces and it’s ready to go. Note: Please allow the alcohol to fully evaporate before using. We don’t want you inhaling rubbing alcohol fumes.

We anticipate shipping to start in April 2024. Deliveries will be fulfilled in the order in which they are received.

It’s as simple as a traffic light. Your [ANNEX] comes with a filter life indicator light. Green means that your filter is good to use. Blinking red means that it’s time for a new filter. You’ll also notice that your [ANNEX] has NFC capabilities. Just tap your phone to the device and our web app will tell you the exact condition your filter is.

Each filter is rated for at least 3.5 grams of flower or approximately 5 to 10 cones. The timespan is always contingent on the strain that you’re enjoying, as some leave more residue than others.

Note: If you feel that it is harder to exhale through the filter, that may be an indication that you’ll need to change it soon, regardless of the LED indicator.

[ANNEX] is compatible with 1 ¼" cones (84 millimeters).

You’ll exhale directly into the same mouthpiece you inhaled from.

Our HUSH Filtration Technology effectively separates inhale and exhale flows, filtering smoke and smell down to the sub-micron level. Our proprietary technology ensures that only fresh flower smoke is inhaled and that no exhaled fumes travel through the cone itself, keeping you in complete control of the smoke and where it goes.

[ANNEX] has been rigorously tested and proven not to activate smoke alarms. However, its proper use is up to you. Use it as directed and you shouldn’t have a thing to worry about.

Only [ANNEX] provides our patented Auto-Sense Extinguish System. It automatically tracks the ember of the cone and stops the burn before reaching or tasting the ‘roach’ area. In addition, the device will vibrate which is a notification that your cone is completed.

It takes two hours to go from zero to full charge, if you're looking for one extra session that takes about 10 minutes and you should be good to go.

There are three easy ways to get more filters:

1. Sign up with your email. Doing so will get you a free filter 2-pack included with your initial order
2. Visit itsannex.com to purchase more filters. This will be operational at our launch, anticipated in January 2024.
3. Tap your phone to the [ANNEX] device. Via NFC, you’ll be taken to the web app portal, featuring one-click filter reordering.

We have a free 30-day return policy in the contiguous United States. (to clarify: 30 days from the day you receive your order).

Please note: All returned items must be new and unused.

It is not. However, the device can handle light amounts of water exposure. We’ve applied a hydrophobic coating to the circuit boards to help protect your [ANNEX]. Moreover, the device is designed to be quite sealed off from the outside.

To be clear, it’s not made to withstand being submerged in liquid. If you do submerge it (i.e. go swimming with it, drop it into the water at the beach, drop it off your yacht…), that will likely ruin the filter installed in the device, potentially harm the circuitry, and definitely void your 1-year warranty.

We like the way you think! [ANNEX] is compatible with waterpipes with downstream adapters of 14mm. To attach your [ANNEX] to the water pipe: Simply insert the inhale/exhale port (with the mouthpiece removed) into the waterpipe. Then, take your puff and finally, exhale into the [ANNEX].
